The Durian Incident

Grabe. I was so pissed when I arrived in Davao International Airport and the guards started checking our baggage. I was with my friends and may dala kaming durian. Of course, being from Davao, that's the only thing na you can be proud of to bring as a pasalubong. Mantakin mo ba naman, they won't allow us to bring durian (inside a box). By the way, I was bound for Cagayan de Oro this time. *sigh*
Well, I would understand that this is their rule but they were inconsistent. Someone, a friend of a friend, had brought these treats to CDO before. When I relayed this information to the ticket personnel, he seemed to be perplexed and asked something to the person beside him. After waiting for some minutes, they told us that it's really not allowed. The problem now is, where will we leave this box? We were advised by the ticket personnel to leave it to the guard and the guard just shrugged his shoulder showing his uncooperative mood. *sigh* Grabe talaga.

*sigh* I admired the personnel there for being so vigilant with the rules but at least they should be accommodating to those passengers who have problems like ours. Psychopath mode tuloy ako. Lagyan ko kaya ng cyanide?

Joke. Sorry, Lord.

i guess only travelers ang makakaalam firsthand about this rule as in on site ang eksena.

uu..as in super unfair talaga. As in super.!

Cyanide is the way to go... I mean, sure as hell those power-tripping guards are gonna eat it.

OK, not cyanide. Bubog will do the trick.

Pwede mo namang buksan na beforehand ung durian, kunin mo ang laman, ilagay sa plastic container at ifreeze mo the night before na aalis ka. That way, mawawala ang baho nia.

Then for good measure, ibalot mo sa makapal na newspaper at ipacking-tape.
